Speaking of fast food...
Happy Memorial Day to everyone! We had a really full weekend - the golf tournament, a concert, some really nice dinners - lots of opportunities to overdo, and of course I did! The one thing I did NOT do, and I hope you didn't either, was eat this new honey barbecued fried chicken sandwich I've been seeing on commercials all weekend long!! Goodness (or really NOT!) - 1100 calories and 57 grams of fat - can you just imagine - I could hardly even watch the commercials; I would have almost preferred to watch all the "problem male" ads!! Not really, those are pretty bad too - anyway, I just can't believe what these fast food places are continuing to put on their menus. If they are tempting you, turn the station - and fast!! Don't let yourself get hungry enough that one of these finds itself in your stomach! A diet with enough protein and enough fiber, nicely prepared and presented, will keep you satisfied - and SO happy when you jump on the scale after the holiday - good for you!! Melissa
